202. Rub-On Type Skull

12pt Helvetica Rub-On Type on Board (5in x 5 in). I was surprised to find this product is still being made (and sold at craft stores), I remember it from the pre-computer days of graphic design when mechanicals were done by hand (and also as a toy in the 70s and 80s).

Oh! That looks awesome! I don't even know what a Rub-On Type is -- not even Wikipedia could help me!

Thanks! It's also called dry transfer lettering and was sold as Presstype back in the day.

Oh wow this brought back some memories. Some of these sheets were expensive and my older sister almost killed me for using a few up.

You know those rubber stamps that allow you to change the date? How about a skull done with one of those?
